About Me
I am a licensed psychotherapist with more than 15 years of clinical experience. I trained and worked across a range of counseling settings in the Bay Area and completed advanced training at psychoanalytic institutes in San Francisco, New York, and Portland, OR.
My approach is grounded in relational and psychodynamic therapy. I understand emotional life as shaped in relationship and within broader social and cultural contexts, and I pay close attention to how patterns develop over time—both in people’s lives and in the therapy relationship itself.
My work is informed by long-standing engagement with questions of identity, power, voice, and belonging, including how experiences of race, culture, gender, sexuality, and social class influence inner life and relationships. These influences are approached not as abstractions, but as lived realities that shape how people understand themselves and others.
I remain actively engaged in ongoing professional education and consultation to maintain a thoughtful, reflective clinical practice.
